when Deepika Padukone Cried - Exclusive

Neil is very excited about being on the show – he confessed that he was very intrigued by the promo which highlighted the theme “Do Deshon ki Ek Awaaz”. This will be his second visit on Chhote Ustaad. He had appeared as a guest on Chhote Ustaad, Season 1 as well. Despite suffering from a severe headache, Neil popped pills and came on sets and managed to have a great time. Likewise, Sonu who was down with fever, took injections during the shoots and was enthusiastic in spite of the fever.
This was Deepika’s first appearance on the show. The broke down when, Rahat sang “Main Jahan Rahoon”. She was overwhelmed with emotion and burst into tears. She was emotional for quite some time. And then on Neil’s request, Sonu took centrestage and sang “Ab Mujhe Raat Din” which finally made Deepika smile.
Among other hightlights Omi plays a hawaldar who is out to nab Abhaas the tapori pocketmaar – Omi the behroopiya – dressed up as Anil Kapoor and now as a havaldar. Wonder what’s next Rishabh the badminton champ of Chhote Ustaad challenges Deepika (a state level badminton champ & daughter of Prakash Padukone) to play badminton with him. Sonu and Neil wanted to join in. Sonu felt left out that only Rishabh played with Deepika.
Neil and Sonu sing “Jaane Kahan Gaye Wo Din”.  Sonu says that his dad is a Mukesh Bhakt. Sonu says that this song is a tribute to his father and Neil’s grandfather Late Mukesh. Deepika sings as well  after Neil egged her on to sing “Mann Lafanga”. Sonu praised her for singing in sur.
Deepika teaches Omi dancing. She danced to Uff Teri Adaa and instructed Omi but would Omi be able to pick up the steps?
Make sure you tune in to watch all the masti and music in this week’s episode of Chhote Ustaad, Sat-Sun on STAR Plus.
