As Demi Lovato, the Sonny with a Chance star, is being treated for what her rep calls “emotional and physical issues” the musical sensation’s TV serial is being revamped.

The Disney Channel’s ‘tween show “Sonny with a Chance”, which is entering the third season in January, revolves around Sonny Munroe – played by Demi Lovato, a teenage comedian who wins the chance to star in a fictional children’s sketch comedy series “So Random!”
The producers of the show and Disney Channel have decided to alter the story line of the show a little, letting the spotlight to fall on “So Random!” the show within the show itself, to “allow Demi the time she needs to get well, without distraction or pressure,” as a spokeswoman from the Disney Channel reported. She added: Again, we extend our ongoing support to Demi and her family as she works to overcomes personal issues.Demi Lovato, the 18-year old star of the Sonny with a Chance TV serial and the singer of La La Land, dropped out of Jonas Brothers’ tour of South America last month and checked into a rehab center “to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help.”
Her rep assures Demi’s fans that Demi is looking forward to get back to work in near future.
