“I can’t live in confinement. I spent three weeks inside with everyone, made merry and am returning home with lovely memories and friends. If I had stayed any longer, it would have probably affected my public image because the negative side of me would surface,” she says. It’s learnt that Ali will soon be brought back inside the house for a second round. However, she says she hasn’t been told anything about it yet. “If the channel and the production house (Endemol) want me back, I’ll be more than happy to return for round two.

Will miss them “Veena and I belong to the same industry in Pakistan but we became friends in India. Seemaji is so unpretentious. Rahul and Aanchal are sweet too. I will miss them but only so long as they are inside the house. After that, we’re back as one big gang,” Ali beams, adding that she will be back in India soon.
“I’ve interacted with Indian artistes on my show and found them really warm, especially Salman Khan. I have found some good prospects here but I’d rather talk when everything is frozen,” she adds.A political party, several actors and ex-Bigg Boss contestants opposed Ali and Mallik’s participation in the show on the grounds that Indians are not allowed to work in Pakistan. “We’re peace ambassadors who’ve entered the country on a visa and with legal permission. It’s a lie that Indian artistes are not allowed in Pakistan. Indian films and music are extremely popular there,” Ali retorts.
