Scholarship Details:
The Ahmet Ertegun Memorial Scholarship has been established by the Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund to provide funding for students of Turkish descent who would otherwise not be able to afford to come to Oxford. The Ahmet Ertegun Education Fund was established in memory of Ahmet Ertegun, co-founder of Atlantic Records.
How do I apply?
You must make an application to the University through UCAS by 15 October 2010 and be successful in gaining a place. You will then need to complete a separate scholarship application form.
Scholars will be expected to write an annual report about their academic and social activities, and achievements at the University.
Receipt of the award in subsequent years is subject to satisfactory academic progress. Scholars will be expected to apply for UK government maintenance support if eligible.
